The Haiku Corner

Howdy folks!

Okay, I know that haikus may be a little bit off topic for this blog, but considering that it’s my blog, I can do whatever the heck I want to. And besides, haikus are sweet.

Also, all the bored-at-works will need something with which to divert themselves in between my travel updates, and this haiku page is meant to be user-updated (that means you).

Why haikus? They can be deep, thought-provoking, and even beautiful, but most importantly to me, they can be funny. Most importantly to you, however, is that they are really easy to write, and for you to write some is exactly what I want you to do!

This page will be a growing compendium of user-created haikus. Add yours to the comments section now! You can write on any subject, and I encourage grossness and swearing.

To kick things off, here are my two favorite haikus:

Haikus are easy,
But sometimes they don’t make sense.

We’re looking down on Wayne’s basement,
Only that’s not Wayne’s basement.
Isn’t that weird?
