A Little About Me

Most of you who will be following my adventures via this blog already know me in one capacity or another, and thus I find creating an About page somewhat pointless. However, one must not forget the net vagrants — bored (most likely at work) blog surfers just a-killin’ time.

So here is my little de-anonymizing blurb:

My name is Colin, and it comes as a surprise to many that it is my middle name. As for what my first name is, well, that’s a secret in plain sight. I am 22 years old, and I was born and raised (mostly) here in Beautiful British Columbia, straight outta Lumby. Here’s my house.

I now am a fourth-year student at the University of Victoria, where I study Applied Linguistics. I am one of the three or so percent of Victorians who are dedicated bicycle commuters. Here is a picture of my sweet ride — no pegs or shocks, and it definitely can’t take any jumps, but it’s still my baby. Please allow me to draw your attention to the purple camo handlebar tape, purple bell, and dual purple headlights. Seriously bad-ass.

After graduation I plan on a) spending many years circumnavigating the world teaching English, b) learning many languages, c) becoming an international man of intrigue, and d) leaving a string of illegitimate children across the globe. Such will be my legacy.

Lastly, but of vital importance, I am a dirty tree planter and proud of it.
